a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

The Past Several Days

were rough.  I don't know if it was the holidays or the weather front or my birthday but something had me out of balance.  I won't complain about rain because we've needed it so long.  Weather changes affect my fibromyalgia. I take nothing for that except OTC like Tylenol.  Many family members came and we had a good time so...what was it???

I have no idea but I know what helped it!  My friend, Sandy, sent me the most delicious surprise! Four of the biggest, most delicious, and prettiest caramel apples I've ever seen, four different flavors, too.  The full four did not last for picture taking.  Thank you, Sandy!
Today a package arrived all the way from the United Kingdom from another friend, Lynne. Tea!
I do love good tea.
Thank you, Lynne!
The art work on the box made me happy!
Beautiful...off to have some hot English tea.

Thank you, dear friends, the timing was perfect.

The Festive Season can play on our emotions etc., in every way possible...just keep eating those delicious caramel apples and things will look much brighter. :)

I'm glad you had a nice time with your family...take good care.

Good morning, the weather fronts or rain seem to make my head feel awful. The apples and tea are a nice surprise and wonderful gifts. I am glad they made you happy. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

Gail, how fun to get surprises when your mood is dark. It looks like we might get some sunshine tomorrow, or at least by Wednesday. The cold rain has me chilled to the bone!

You're so very welcome my dear friend. I believe the weather has all of us down, on top of our medical problems. The sun needs to peak through the clouds and warm us up a little bit. Enjoy your apples, and your special tea from the United Kingdom but most of all enjoy your Birthday!!!

God sends us something just when we need it most. Sounds like tea and apples and birthday were big helpers.
Rest up, sip, and crunch.

Happy to hear you're feeling better. There's something about the holidays that wreaks havoc with the emotions...gets me too. Thank God for the kindness of friends!

Me too,but I know what got me out of whack. Putting in a 45.5 hour week working! A most happy (sorry I missed the day) birthday to you! As far as birthdays go, the only ones I truly love are, my children and their children....as for mine well, shhhhh must keep it a secret!
