I've picked water cress from the spring branch to add to salad.
I've burned a few limbs.
We have planted broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage (two kinds), brussel Sprouts, radishes, lettuce and turnips. We've also sewn bare spots here and there with turnips for three reasons: We will eat them, the deer will eat them and they will prevent erosion.
I've enjoyed clear waters
and beautiful flowers with soft rain.
We are blessed.

WOW . . . spring has arrived in Arkansas!
We had our first 70 on our primary day and that was only one thing that broke records.
Warmer it will be for a few more days, (early for us here in Michigan.)

Glad you mentioned turnips. I need to plant some. I love them with a few red-pepper flakes cooked in with some sugar and then served with a touch of vinegar.
My city husband won't touch them.
I saw some good looking plants at W-M today that made me rethink planting some broccoli and kale.

How nice you include plantings for the deer. I always include extra for the bunnies.
