a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Big Bonnie

You know her well.  You may not realize she is the biggest dog we have.  Thought I might give you a prospective.
My shoe...her track.
At over eighty muscular pounds she is BIG.
The dogs have taught her to play stick
and Hubby has taught her to pull him out of his chair...a service dog!
She can show expressions that have a human quality
Bonnie fills a Gator pretty full and has a pretty big heart too.
American Pit Bull Terriers are good dogs.
We do love our Bonnie who fits right into our farm pack.

What a specimen. I love pits. They are some of the sweetest dogs I have ever owned.

I love pitties. My Lovey is a mix - although petite, compared to your beautiful girl. They are so smart!

That's some big paws.
It's not the breed as much as how they were raised.

I tell hubby it all depends on the owner, but he is stubborn.

Bonnie sure is a big, solid girl...and a lovely girl at that.

When my mother was a little girl she had a much-loved dog named "Bonnie". She often told my late brother and me stories of her beloved pet. I felt as if I, too, knew the dog. :)

What a beauty she is! 2nd Family has a Pit mix, "Blue", and he's a sweetheart, I love having him around when I'm there. He's just a happy dog.

Shes's lovely with her wrinkled forehead. I guess she worries about all of you at the farm.

She's lovely! What a sweetheart! There is a subdivision down from us whose HOA is trying to remove a lady's rescued dog because they say it resembles a pit bull. The entire town is in an uproar! Even the news channels picked it up and they are mad too. There was a petition going around to abolish breed profiling, which I signed. Seriously, how in the world they think they can do this is beyond me. They're getting threats now so perhaps they should focus on looking over their shoulders instead of forcing an elderly lady out of her home or giving up her dog. Asshats.

She's a beautiful dog. I must admit though that I'm afraid of large dogs like that.

She is a beautiful mix of solid muscle and soft fur with soulful eyes! I have come to love pit bulls, they are smart, helpful, loving, and family-protecting! My niece lives alone and has three of them, along with a coonhound, a cat, and always a foster pit bull for her rescue group. I never have to worry about her safety!!
