Very true! And always something wondrous to see. Good to shut out the world sometimes and feel the quiet and beauty.
I use to love going into the woods too. Until a month or so ago when Tucker and I saw a copperhead. It was dead but, no matter. I'm not going back. I hate those things. Looking for a new place now. One with no snakes. LOL
Hello, I agree the woods is a peaceful place. So much to see! Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
LOVE the moss on the tree, the second from bottom. so beautitful. beaches and wooded areas are the best for feeling peaceful. no people just nature
I would live in the woods!! I don't know if I would ever come out. :)

Gail, I got a strange message from you that said "Just read your beginning" and that's all there was. Did part of it get left off? I don't recognize the format, it looks like a post but it's a message.
The fungus is among us...
In today's world, balance is desperately needed and Nature is probable the only place to find it. Thanks for sharing your magical moments.
I appreciated the outdoors more as a youth than I do as an adult and never got bored.
Amen to that, Gail. Hope you all have a blessed day.
hi Gail! Yes, I am getting your e-mail comments; and enjoying them thoroughly!
It's always good to surround yourself with nature. :)
While I appreciate the beauty and power of the coast - oceans, lakes, etc., there is nothing to me as special as the peace of the woods and the view from mountains.
We all need balance in our lives.Nature can give us so many good feelings and lift our spirits too!All the best Jan
Wonderful to have a place like that . . .To refreshen the soul . . .
Nature is always a place where we can be restored, it is our connection to spirit and where we can regain our own balance. We when stay cooped up in our box houses we miss that. You are blessed with such beautiful places to roam!
Yes, so comforting. Like almost nothing else.
