Stalking The Wild Asparagus

The games begin.
Where did he go?
Asparagus and Four O'clocks in a good place to begin looking.
Like Euell Gibbons, he begins Stalking The Wild Asparagus.

They are almost as much fun to watch as the chickens!

They are like the wild beasts of the jungle (not much removed imo) only in miniature size.

Run!
Asparagus is a funny name for a cat.

Two of our cats have so much fun chasing each other. The other two just hiss at each other and the two who play together.
Cats are weird and we like cats with personality.
Thank you for sharing your cats with us, Gail!

Love to see animals practice their hunting skills on eachother. Do you ever get any edible asparagus. My tame asparagus is now looking rather wild from neglect.

I love cat stalking games! Even indoors our will do this, engage in wild games of chase, or wait around the corner for one to exit the litter box and then commence with the crouching butt-wiggle, pounce, attack. They are so fun to watch! :-)

What great action shots!! We have four o'clocks, lots of them. Aren't they wonderful? Well, they don't bloom at exactly four every day; it depends on the weather, Ha ha!

I will be posting my four 0 clocks shortly. Reading about them, I found out that it is not the time that makes them bloom, it is the temperature!

I still have my original copy of that book! My cats just stalk the wild dust bunnies.

Such fun it is! I laughed this morning as my two furry rascals jumped off the bed in unison...in perfect synch. They should've given me the heads up and I would've tried to match them! *cough* :)
