a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Me and My Feet in October

My feet and I made friends with a tarantula.
 Found Beggar Lice seeds
Did a little fishing
Got down and dirty in the mud
and washed my feet in cool spring water.
My days with my flip flops are growing shorter..

Pass on the second item.
You're going to freak people out with that first shot.
And if I stepped outside right now, my feet would be underwater.

Hello, I wish flip flops could be year round. The tarantula is creepy. Happy weekend to you!

Incredible jaunts you take with your toes and flip flops! it seems in Alabama things are still nearly like summer, but oh I know Minnesota is getting colder!

Ouch on that tarantula!

Really enjoyed this little journey with your flip-flopped feet.

Your feet keep very busy, and are so versatile! I think if mine tried to hold a fishing pole they would get a cramp. Poor feet will be so sad and smothered in the winter.

You and your feet really get around. *wink*

Haven't heard the expression "beggars lice" in a long time. In Florida I had a pit bull that loved those delicacies. I would stretch my legs out and he would pick them gently off my jeans and eat them. I loved that dog.

Your feet are taking advantage of the last days of warm weather. Smart feet, for sure.

One of my many happy memories from our visit to your farm, was of you in your bare feet showing us around. I suspect that those bare feet keep you more closely connected to the earth, which is the way it should be. I have to wear sandals or shoes of some kind because of bad heels and arches, but I hate it when the weather gets cold and I need socks and shoes to keep warm. Bare feet on green grass is the best feeling in the world!
