I don't think I've ever seen a tarantula in the wild. We do get wolf spiders and they're huge although not that big.
WOW . . .I think I will enter you in the National Book Of Records . . . Copperheads and Tarantulas . . . Oh my . . .and I freak at at a tiny mouse . . .
OMG!!!!! you have tarantulas???? forget scotty beaming me there. great shots of all these creatures but I like NONE of them, the spiders I mean not the photos... I thought tarantulas lived in the desert?????
Yes, the tarantula surprised me as well. I didn't think they were in your area. You are so kind to take care of him/her!
Of course I could not look, for fear of nightmares. You gave a drink to a spider!!! You are a farm Mother Teresa!! You continue to amaze me.
Oh, he77, no. They are important, I know. I would rather they just quietly go about their business. Creepy. Great pictures, though.
Wow, you actually run a spider clinic for the wounded? Proud of you. Those jumpers have the cutest faces and yes, they really are quick.
Not a fan of spiders at all, so can't see myself helping one out, Gail.
spiders are interesting creatures, when I find one inside I try to get it outside in one piece.
OK, you may be loosing me on these scary spider blogs....just kidding....maybe.Tarantulas scare me. I had one jump at me once as a kid. I have never forgotten it!
Three very different spiders.Good for you for helping out the tarantula.Wishing you a good weekendAll the best Jan
you get tarantulas there! wow!
What great spiders!!! The tarantulas are moving around now here too.
Oh my where are the lions and tigers and bears! Hehehe!
I am pretty fine with spiders, but I don't like the jumping variety.Creeps me out.=)
I love spiders, especially tarantulas! Sadly, I have no such affections for snakes, they scare me. My niece and I debate this all the time, as she is afraid of the big spiders that hang on her front door in the Fall, and thinks snakes are quite cool. I offered to trade our Texas rattlers for her spiders but she has to come and collect them! :-)
Jumping spiders scare the heebie jeebies out of me.I actually am not afraid of looking at a tarantula but I'm not sure I could pick one up but I"m glad you helped that one out.
