Such a powerful word, forgiveness for some is very hard to come by and for others it sets them free.
To err is human, to forgive is divine.

Forgiveness.
Break it up.
For - something external to ourselves
Give - passing something on selflessly
It's about setting one's self aside and reaching out from our pain.
Which is why it's hard. And worthy.

Forgiveness is a big ol' emotion that lives in our heart and when used right and at it's fullest capacity lets us live a better life. Oh and Gail your painting of the two horses, I believe it's a watercolor, I love it!
Forgiveness, such a huge word. Dr. Phil once said something that has always stuck in my mind and heart. He said, " hate the person~poison yourself." Soooooo true!
