Merry Christmas!

A Christmas Story
by me

I sent not one card
Nary a present did I wrap
The spirit had left me
My holiday was zapped.

The family still gathered
Not one whit did they care
They came not for presents
They came to share.

The meaning of Christmas
became clear this day
surrounded by loved ones
was the true way.

Laughter was present
Joy was shared
The True Spirit of Christmas
filled the farm's air.

Merry Christmas!!!!
