Roses and Chain Saws...

Roses and skull
Trim and recharge with caffeine
Another way to trim limbs you can't reach.

We cut and piled trees and branches until there was not a dry rag on us which did not take long in this weather.  Five useless trees too close to the house and miscellaneous limbs have joined a growing pile.

As TM rested I did some more digging, testing and digging and had a dry (wet) run before I put things in place permanently.
 I did a water test
as the dogs played.

You must be exhausted by the time you go to bed every day with all the hard work you do.
Loving the water feature, it's looking good!

It is so hot here and I "think" it is there, as well. So beeee careful out in the hotness of September.

loving your water feature....looking forward to seeing it finished. I don't know...the tractor looks kinda scary to trim trees but then I'm a city girl and a chicken to boot.

Did you get a lot of firewood from all that?
You make me hot just reading it. Hope you drank more than just that one can.

Your garden is going to be awesome! Hubby talked about trying to make me a little water garden; but he can't figure where to put it that wouldn't be in the way out of the sun.

Have a wonderful evening, Gail!

What beautiful roses! You two work so hard!! I'd be mighty tempted to be sitting in that awesome little water pool after a long hot work session like that! I'm with the dogs, play while the folks are working and hope no one notices!;-)

You're sweating and we're putting on fall coats. The temps here are dipping so fast - really uncommonly cool even during day - usually we have really great warm weather in September-early Nov - but this is uncanny n cool.
Yah , now that's the way to take down a tree - your new waterway is looking good and I always love to see the paw paws at play, also TM. he,he
Have a great day and hi to all.
