and I love them so! I postpone going until I HAVE to go and usually have two buggies of life's essentials...sea foam, dog food, the latest and greatest from the automotive department just to mention a few... always piled high with food stuffed every where. Pizzas make good sideboards for the buggy so I can stack higher.
I was having my hair butchered at the local hair salon within Walmart's walls as Hubby walked. My hair was horrible. I do a better job cutting my own outside with the wind blowing the hair away. Ended up going to another stylist to fix this one. I look like Mark Harmon now...Semper Fi.
Hubby accidentally wandered into the contraceptive department, an aisle we seldom travel. When I'm through with my glasses (replacing lens) and my weed whacked hair do, Hubby catches up with me. He whispers, Did you know they have vibrators in Walmart? He said It's made by some company called Trojan. Uh, no, I didn't know because there is no need for me to shop that aisle. I said Same company that makes rubbers, remember them? Hubby is actually embarrassed, God love him!
I really think we need to get out more!

Second time you made me laugh this morning - you silly goose. I want to hang out with you - I think we would have such fun - working aboot the farm and repairing stuff, discovering Mother Nature's gifts, exploring the dark highway, writing our thoughts down on paper and just chillin' with the family n pets with a drop of "any dam way we please". haha
He got an eye opener at Walmart, didn't he? Considering some of the people who show up at Walmart, surprised he didn't see anyone trying them out.
Bet your haircut looks adorable and it won't get in your way putting away all the "things" you bought or will go back to buy!! Men are too funny sometime about "things"...:)JP
What a hoot! I find shopping alone speedy and when the hubs is along I find items I have never heard of or not interested in that find their way inside the cart. No items from the "Trojan" isle though
Two great posts with some giggles!
hahahaha fun stuff with hubs...hey you can get everything at walmart...even a good chuckle....
brahahah.. laughed all the way through the whole post.. and i am still smiling... just to funny... my husband the mechanic was working at Midas Muffler and almost severed his thumb on a brake drum. he rushed to the hospital to get it sewed back on and the bandage was huge. the doc told me to buy the largest rubbers i could find and to make sure there was no grease or powder in them, and to keep one pulled down over the thumb for a week, to protect it.
i got to CVS and the darn wall of rubbers was where i was facing the pharmacy. i am standing there picking up rubbers and reading each one and the pharmacy says can i help you make a choice? i told him what i needed and he came around and handed me the right ones... i saw people staring at me, i was 55 years old...
the hacking of hair is why bob cuts mine in the back yard with the wind to blow the hair away... i have cried many times over the way beauty salon people cut my hair.
:-)
ha ha. and i think mark harmon's modified bowl cut is rather odd. :)
Oh now you've done it. I scared the heck outta my animals with a gut splitting guffaw. Poor Hubby, too funny. Mine is a little "delicate" sometimes with the most direct subjects. Cracks me up. Now I'm gonna have to cruise that aisle at Walmart to see what they carry here. Who woulda thunked it.
As to your hair. I'm so sorry. I too have had experience letting someone who should not be allowed to hold scissors cut my locks, but how can you tell, right? I'm sure Mark Harmon is proud to have you in his ranks for awhile.
xoxo Oma Linda
My husband and I sat here and laughed at this post. Gail you and your husband are so cute. I just loved it.
I have a shopping trip soon to that store that I keep putting off too.
Thanks for the update.
What? I love Mark Harmon's hair-do! On me, no.
I have never gone down that aisle. To think that our small store where I grew up kept the Kotex supplies in brown paper bags.
I hadn't thought of using pizzas as buggy sideboards. I'm going to try that!
That isle can be quite interesting! My hubby avoids it like the plauge! LOL!
Doesn't take long to fill a cart at Wally World! Pizza as side boards, hadn't thought of that either!
What a great post. Funny! I looked for the picture of you in your new hair style, but it wasn't there! *wink*
Gail,
I haven't been down the Trojan Man aisle lately..........LOL!!!!
Your poor hubby :-)
Still chuckling about the Semper Fi. And the Trojan products, too.
;)
This one cracked me up! I didn't know they carried them either. We don't cruise those isles or a few others I will refrain from mentioning.
I love our WM outings too.
