Through My Window...

Old Man Winter is not being gentle this year.
Our snow is gone
but the North gate is still open.
All kinds of winter records are being broken.
The ice grows
And I dream of spring.
I wish you warmth.

Gail,

It rained most of the day, temperatures peaked 43 degrees. Now it's dropping and the rain will freeze. Ice will once again form on the windows making there own designs.
Not as pretty as your windows!!!

It's not that cold here yet, but it may be by next week. In that case, I'm going to immigrate to a warmer climate. Some place safe in Africa maybe. xox

I walk past my Gratefulness tree full of love and goodness everytime I leave Casa de Cuckoo. Yesterday morning the wind was blowing so hard that it had rearranged some of the "wood" that you sent to us. The basket at the bottom of the tree full of bark is frozen to the concrete. Baby, even the Arkansas ambiance of the GT is cold. And there was tiny ice paintings on some of the jars.
Think of you and your sis every time. xoxo Oma Linda

I know I am here in warm California but you have to admit it is very pretty to look at.
Is that ice on the inside? My sister's house had her windows looking like that on the inside.
Well I hope it warms up soon.

Can you believe this???? And the ones who have all of the snow on the ground are looking at a quick warm up with rain and guess what??? Get out the waders cause the floods are coming...sheesh!

While I am not in ANY way anxious to get to the triple digit summer, the cold needs to go!

Happy New Year!

It finally broke the freezing mark this morning so I did make it to the grocery store. Your window ice looks like an elk standing in a field with stark bare trees..all iced over with frost. :)
