Looking Spring In The Eye

Marcy's many tulips were nodding their pretty heads
as the wind blew the bees away.
The family lilac survived.
For a time I had my doubts.
The flowering almond has crowded the Bridal's Wreath
while the second butterfly of the year
tasted the Money plant.

We had a flowering almond in the front yard and haven't thought about it in years. So temporary, but I played with my dolls there.

My Granny had a Silver Dollar Plant. If only. ;-)

I love lilacs. I really want to get one some day.

Wonderful pictures, Gail. Thank you. :-)

Stay warm tonight!
