All that scares me
Drops to the bottom
Of my list

Reigns
And makes me
Fear to wish.

i have forgotten what i knew about the Monkey's paw. I like what you wrote better than what it was in school...

Great choice of title card! Much is left to the imagination, much there to fuel a personal fear.

This definitely has a dark tone. Hope you meant it to. Loved it.

I have never been so scared as from the Monkey's Paw, I saw the title of your blog and I though Oh Noooo!!! Just kidding I am glad it didn't show up at your house.

I agree with Kerry...just enough to create the mystery! Well done!

My son was in a theatre production of "The Monkey's Paw" - a very eery tale, let me tell you. So the title grabbed me right off!

Yes, fear to wish! Nice one.

So much is said in what isn't said (silence) Definitely eerie

That has always been my very favorite, most horrific, scary story.
