Will the ones you post in the fall be late bloomers...?
Nice shots. The second one is almost alien.

Brought a smile, I prepared a post to publish on Friday which looks like yours. Something about July blooms that caught our eye I guess . . . I have a bug in the sunflower too. Watch for it!

Beautiful bloomers indeed. My garden has been such a disappointment to me this year and then came the rains and instead of nothingness in the straw bale garden I have peppers, tomatoes and the biggest sunflowers I have ever grown. The only flowers that have come along and made an appearance are morning glories and I think they are like the cockroaches of the plant world, ain't nothing gonna kill them. The morning glories are gorgeous and I'm thankful for nature taking care of my yard when I could not.

Beautiful flowers, Gail. I have a sunflower growing in a pot on a sunny windowsill in the living room. It bloomed once and now it had three new buds on it. It must be a special living room sort. xox

Such pretty blooms Gail. Your sunflowers and your purple coneflower look fantastic.
