Ground Hog Day

Our ground hog has no name
We don't call him "Phil"
We could call him
Bubba, Frank or Bill

Let's just say What's-His-Name
Saw no shadow today
And since we weren't hungry
We let him go his way.

Yay for the free groundhog.....
Love this, it's cute. The groundhog would definately see it's shadow here today. Sunshiney and 52.

Oh thank goodness he lives to live another day! Although there may be a whole bunch of people (those day truly believe he knows what he says) that may want to squeeze the breath out of him. Of course after about 132 grey days the sun is out this morning. Only on Ground Hog day!

Okay maybe there haven't been 132 days in a row of grey skies, but it sure fills like it!

Nevada doesn't have groundhogs, but we do have marmots. I don't think he saw his shadow either and it pretty much feels like spring is already here. Winter...what winter!

I think Bubba is a perfectly fine name- but not if you are going to dine on him for supper. I make it a rule to not ever name my food. :) You crack me up!

Goodness, you have your own personal groundhog. How neat. Have we even had winter yet? I must have blinked.

I like the name Bubba, instead of Phil. He had better be careful and not trespass because the dogs will be watching :-)

Any groundhogs here would need a periscope to see his shadow. We're currently at a new foot of snow since yesterday and it's still falling.

We are, as you know, buried, got more today so IF there is a groundhog here, we won't see his sorry butt for a long, long time! ...:)JP
