OUT

OUT

      of words
     of funds
           of solutions

OUT

        of dreams
    of hope
    of time

OUT

          strike three
                         shoulders to the mat
                  cupboard's bare

OUT

            washed out
             smashed up
            sliced open
OUT

dry
       broken
      empty

when the day seems as dire as that, one can hope only for a new day.

Nicely done. I like the staccato feel of this.

That really conjoured up some negative feelings when I read that - well done.

But, also out in nature.....where one gets replenished when one is OUT of all those things on your list!

Great set of words - I keep trying my hand at poems, but always end up back at prose.

When the creek bed is dry and broken, one can only hope for rain, as in last photo. Words put to great use with even greater photos. Like this. H to M n all :)

Nice one for the prompt- you are really getting good with these poems! Hey, I don't want to scare you or anything, but I think it's going to rain from now to Christmas. I think I'm going to have to go prepper pretty soon and start stocking up on groceries.
