Sun's light reflection reminds me of a space portal
but fall is really a time portal.
The poke berries ripen for the animals to eat.
Colored leaf in spring water
The fields have seeded
and the trees show a hint of fall color
Wild flowers give a last hurrah as they share their pollen
Color shows more
as fallen leafs fill the creek.
We wait for precious rain.

Now if only we could figure out how to close the dang thing.
it really does look like a portal... wish i had one to go back in time a few years.. love the colored leaves and the flowers.

Maybe it is a portal...
Wow, the creek is really low.
Oh how we wait! Yesterday we had a storm blow right by us...exactly 0.07 of an inch. HMMMM Barely calmed the dust down. This is ridiculous.
These are all nice, especially the sunlight's reflection.
We cannot stop time, nor can we bring rain. Each season is a time portal. Interesting poetic thinking here, Gail. Beautiful photos, too.
Autumn, the most beautiful time of the year!!
