We have naturalized bees, wild bees and domestic bees.
They do their job well and pollinate as a side effect of working for food.
The Canon Power Shot that took these died last night.
That's my second electronic death in two days, my last loss my wireless extender.
Granny said Things come in threes so I'm wondering...
I still have my shovel and clippers so outside to work.
Have a blessed weekend.

sorry for your loss and I know how big these two items are in your life... hugs and the camera sure did a fine job on the bee. when you say died, it just will not turn on? the camera I mean
Goodness, I hope you don't get the third. Good shots of the bees, they are sure busy!
I have only seen ONE honey bee this year. One. I was going to start up my hives again next year, but the GMO-laden corn field next to me has me thinking I should wait until I move somewhere more bee-kindly. Oy! I hope this is the last of the breakdowns - my granny said the same thing...
Hello, it is great you are keeping your local bees happy.
Sorry about all the tech and camera trouble. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Happy bees. Sorry about your electronic failures....hope the third isn't anything too too important.
Bees are so important, and like with everyone residing at your farm, they do their part! These were awesome photos, I hope your camera's breakdown wasn't fatal. I was also taught that things come in three's. I wonder how that belief got started? Let's say that this time it isn't going to be true, or that the third thing will be a stroke of good luck instead. I think you're due! :-)
Great shots!
Are domestic bees the ones kept in man built hives?
Really sorry about your camera.
GREAT bee shots!!! The two bees look different, too. But maybe that is just the light or the angle. Well, on the bright side, you get to shop for a new camera! But I am sorry! Growing up, my family always told me things happened in threes. Especially deaths. I am certainly not superstitious, but this has always seemed to be true.
Just let bees be doing their job! Great capture with the lens. Sorry about the camera, hopefully you can get a new one.
Have a nice weekend Gail!
yeah, i expect things in 3s, too. *sigh*
Great shots! Bees are just wonderful. I hope nothing else breaks down!
Nice to see those bees out working!
Well that just isn't fair . . .
No more, not a "three" . . . please . . .
I really like the Bee and Flower shots . . .
Astute of you to recognize the differences . . .
I see a bee and a bee and a bee . . .
I hope there will not be a third. Great photos!
Thank you, Gail. I hope you all have a blessed weekend, too. ^_^
Seems like our troubles come in threes ..... hope if your third one hits, it is a very minor one!
Great shot of the bees. We have more carpenter bees than honey bees.
Oh, no! And those are not cheap to replace, either.
:(
Not many bees near me, plenty of hornets though
Great that you have some bees. All I have seen are bumble bees and I was a bit concerned.
Ouch on the camera. Hope it can be rejuvenated.
Love the bees. Great shots. Sorry to hear the camera took a crapola!
Gail, what is a wireless extender? I have never heard of one but if it is something that makes your wifi go out further, I sure need one as my wifi doesn't work worth a darn in my outbuildings.
We have a variety of bees here, too. Some farmers near us here farm them for honey. My great-granddad did, too.
I'm just buzzing by...I've been a busy bee!
