a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

The Beginning

The great Horseshoe Casino
Gold Stike,

And none stood up to their names.

We had two different motels, one with a pool, one without.
Giant buffets that could be grazed with no limits, comfortable rooms and a entire staff to keep us happy and encourage us to gamble.
We broke even so did not mortgage the home. Interesting but not something I really would die to do again...but now I can say I did.

I went to Vegas once and played the one armed slot machine with quarters and lost 20 dollars. Now I too can say I did it. It was fun.

I've never gambled at a casino. Visited one in Reno on vacation with my parents years ago.

I'm such a sore looser, gambling wouldn't work for me-all you can eat buffet-now that's a different story:)

Cool photo angles of those buildings. I feel a little dizzy now.

I suppose even rubbing Buddha's big belly didn't bring more moolah to your wallets, eh?

I'm glad you all had such a fun vacation.
