As much as I hate the cold, the frost on the roses is really quite beautiful. I am NOT looking forward to winter!

Those roses look like they've been sugar frosted, lovely photos.

We haven't had it that cold yet but it's just a matter of time!

Burr, the rose is gorgeous with all that frost on it. We have a very warm day yesterday. This weather is crazy.

Your photos are extraordinary! We came close to frost this morning. It's really a beautiful afternoon with blue skies. A good day for raking leaves!

Gail, your roses look so beautiful, mine just looked dead...like toast after our frost. Have ya ever considered going pro behind the camera? You are a talented photographer.

Have a super day and stay warm. We turned on the furnace three weeks ago and I built a fire in the fireplace last weekend. I HATE the winter!!!!

Stunning photos! I don't much care for the cold, but I do like the fact that the frost seems to kill off one or two of the more annoying insects.

Frost always looks good in a photo but not on my plants as it means the cold winter is on the way. Love your blog, especially the horses!

Beautiful pix! We don't get too much frost down here in the lowcountry of SC and I miss the cold--though not bitter cold! LOL

The pictures of the frost on the flowers are absolutely stunning. I say blow them up and frame them.
