a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Farewell, Mikey/Yoda/Dexter

You are not my dog.  The owner called and said you've got my dog.  I had to give him up and I am crying.
I may have one more Yoda post but know it was posted when I thought he was mine...forever.

He did not come to his master, nor did he want to leave, but I have no claims and must give him gracefully and hope he fares better than he has in the past.

Oh! That's not a good sign he didn't go to his owner. I'll try not to worry.

I'm so sorry, it would be heartbreaking for me too. I hope he will be treated well.

At least he knew love for a time and I hope he will be taken care of. You are a good person and he is a better dog for knowing you.

OH NO! Maybe he will run away again. Were you sure he belonged to that person?

Sorry. I know that hurts.

That doesn't sound right. I hope this was checked carefully. How did they make sure that he was the owner of that dog? Sorry to add to your misery. It's darn rotten, Gail.

Well, that's a shame.

You just have to pray that things work out. I hope he will be happy with his owner again

How did I miss all of these posts about this dog? I'm sorry, Gail. You've got such a great big heart and he seemed adorable. I hope the owner was truly his.
