a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Seeing White

Almost dark, I am driving home and who do I see?
A mirror pair, one looking at me.
So strange to see, almost a statue, looking not quite real.
Then today, I see her in the neighborhood,
and whip my car into a side road, I know this is my chance...but she bounds away before I can get close enough.

My neighbors may be calling the law to report a drive by shooting...with the camera of course.  I am going to get the perfect shot, one of these days, I am gonna do it!

Nice shooting skills. It's good to see she's made it through and beyond opening day.

You're almost there! Great pictures.

I don't know... Those first couple look REALLY close. Unless you're ready to dress up in a deer outfit with antlers, you're chances of getting closer are slim to none!

Great shots!

I can hear the determination here, your gonna' get the shot you desire.

Personally, I'm just a little jealous of the shots you've gotten already.

Have the best weekend!
God bless :o)

Keep trying deer are very hard to capture with out day light. I have never had success yet either.
But the darkness dose give an Erie glow to the photos. I think it is wonderful just to git a gimps of her.

I think you have done a wonderful job with the pictures you have of her already. I have never been able to get pictures of deer. When the car stops, they run away.

She is so pretty! We have an all black deer in our area, which is also very rare. She has been seen several times, but never caught on camera.

You sure got close on those first shots, even though they were taken in the dark. You will make it yet. You do have the determination. Hike out there if you know where she hangs out. In camouflage clothes!
