a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Autumn...

is undressing for winter,
although some colors still hold on.
Protected mums remind us of the beauty
that will be again.
One sweet potato plant yields much,
but the ground is hard and dry for digging.
The winter radishes are almost gone
and the snow peas are eaten by deer.
The sunrises are beautiful
showing bare trees.
The  plants dressed in frost,
dream of spring.

Your pics always make me smile! Heck, I huffed and puffed and I can't begin to pull my dead annuals out of this concrete earth. Still....no rain...not a drop!

God bless ya and have a great week sweetie!!!

I wish you weren't working.
I wish you liked strangers coming to your home to visit.
I wish I lived closer?
I know it's work to live on a farm but...I could help ...what...mop the floors? LOL
I'm teasing.
Just sending you hugs..and love..and like that!
Mona
