Frog Fib

Imaginary Garden With Real Toads has a mini weekend challenge.  This challenge required a certain form and so I try because I like challenges.
Do
You
Think I
Can count spots
On this Leopard frog
As he hides in running water?

I'm guessing no. It's just a guess.

Have a terrific weekend. :)

Such a beautiful photo... relieved to know that's a frog and not a snake! They are pretty too... from about a mile away! :-)

Lots of fun, Gail. He's almost invisible, isn't he? I don't know about spots, but you counted syllables just fine. Thanks for playing!

As
Well
As we
Can count all
Stars in toad heaven

nice... with so much suggested and implied from condensed poet's reflections hidden in the running river of time...

I love this! I had a Leopard frog in my yard last summer. They are quite fun to see ;D

Nice job given the constraints of the style... which would be the type of challenge I would enjoy

You have so many types of frog and toads over there.
I suspect it might be a tad difficult to count those spots.

Ok i think YOU can but no one else could count the spots on the frog.
how about doing a post on what you did, since i for one have no clue, i read a comment about syllables, but don't see that and the comment with numbers makes no sense. soooooo please do a post and explain and see if we can comment doing it.

i went to Hedgewitch and read what it means and now am really confused. and still have no clue.. good job. i think.

Nice! We used to quieten our children by suggesting they count the spots on our Dalmatians. The youngest tried joining the dots . . .

TO COUNT OR NOT TO COUNT - THAT IS THE QUESTION......NOPE :)

Only if he's knee-deep. (groan...) - Sweet and a good question ~ M

I'm thinking we weren't meant to - as nature hides him; I'm thinking he represents so much of what we can't count (on) in life. Well done.

They don't make it easy, but you are Wonder Woman. I love frogs, and most all critters.

I am not sure...perhaps there is a riddle in the verse.. :)

Heh. I can't hardly SEE the frog, let along count the spots.

I think you did a good job with this one, Gail. :-)
