Just hope that cricket doesn't start singing. We get those skinks in our yard. And our garage. I don't recommend walking barefoot through our garage...
Had no idea what a skink was! Wonderful shot of the turtle. Except probably him, I would never be able to get these guys to stay still enough for such great pictures.
to funny on the grasshopper hitch hiker.... my 46 year old son just admitted to me last week that he is scared to death of grasshoppers. and tree frogs.. all news to me. i wish i could see what you saw, all of these would excite me, just the photos of them excite me
I am completely unencumbered by wildlife. This summer I haven't even seen a hedgehog. I have seen bees and butterflies and the usual innocent insects, but nothing exotic. You live a far more exciting life than I do. Be careful that the grasshopper doesn't end up in the wrong place!
We used to have skinks and lizards every where when we lived in Florida. The skinks if you picked them up would bite whereas, the lizards they would just get scared.
Do you have any cicada's there this time of the year?

love that you get the blue-tailed skinks there!
What fun! You have good eyes!
NOt a bug lover, love. But your critters remind me of "home". Hope you have a good weekend, Gail.
You can keep the skink - I love the box turtle, though! All wild creatures At The Farm!
You have lots of critters at your place. Too fun. I'd be out there looking for them too.
Have a terrific day. ☺
Very nice shots Gail.

I'd love to take that walk! It has been too long since I have seen a box turtle.
So many fascinating creatures!
That turtle is amazingly colourful under his plain shell.
