Six Sentences For Two Shoes

The new year brought cold temps and high winds. Oh, the winter we will have.  When the power goes we will last a while but if the snow is deep we may become lost in drifts of the storm and of life.

If we are stranded I do not have a cooking pot large enough for human parts and will not survive like the Donner Party and others who had no choice.

If the worst should happen I hope when the spring is new they will only find our bodies and know we burned books and cooked shoe leather to survive.  We could be found holding each other frozen while trying to warm ourselves never thinking anyone would taste like chicken.

For Josie Two Shoes Creative Challenge Six Sentences.

Oooh, I liked this one very much Gail! Certainly gave one pause to think! I would certainly hope to never find myself in that position, because I'm thinking humans must taste a whole lot better than the shoes! ;-)

Ha ha, that was great fun. I do hope it doesn't come to that. I bet you taste like crocodile.

Horrific but laughable at the same time. I suppose the only hope is that the cold will make you so sleepy that you won't have the energy to be hacking each other to bits, let alone chewing each other uncooked. But I do see now why humans keep pets...just in case!

I have often wondered what i would have done if with the Donners... now we know what you would do and since we are sisters separated at birth, i can guess what i would do.

We are in the midst of another big storm - a stay in type - only out long enough for paw paw to do job and right back in. Snow is heavy, lots of it and blowing a gale.
I have lots and would gladly share with you ..... right down to my leathery shoes - quite tasty in a stew. :)
