We have a post and rail fence at the front of a horse pasture near our old place... I noticed last week, though, that an electric line runs through it!

Love those split rail fences. It's so neat to find them in good shape, as so many are broken down.

Rustic and beautiful shaped fence

Isn't it amazing - back then, they built houses and fences that lasted for a very long time. Today, they put up houses faster than slapping two pieces of paper together. Nice olde house and fence.

That's looks like the kind of place that you want to spend some time letting the spirit of the place tell you all it has to share. Lovely fence and location.

If I didn't have Callie, I'd love a fence like that. Always my favorite.
