a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Gravity Glue Works!!!!

Recently Michael Grab came to my attention with Gravity Glue.  I was amazed!  Could it be possible?

Yes, it can.  I tried it.  It worked.  Granted it was not in the elaborate artistic style of Michael Grab but I did it in my small and effective way.
The dogs were impressed so I did it again and again.
Not as impressive
Not as elaborate
but enough to tell me it can be done.
A few people I shared a clip with had some doubt and quite honestly so did I.
I seem to be empowered when someone says it can't be done.
These are rocks I would never have chosen to stack
and yet here they stand.
Fifteen minutes tops for five successes
and I had a blast.
Of course I did!
Once I knew how to feel the balance, it worked.
It involves rocks so I'm super excited.
Think I need to get out more??

they are amazing and very popular in other countries. i have seen them on blogs from Europe several times. yours are every bit as pretty as his.. now what will happen if a dog pushes it or touches it.. how sturdy is it.

Nicely done!

That's neat- it would be super if those would stay for a good long time! My kids made me some glass flowers for Christmas and I think they said they used 6000 glue or something like that...I've never heard of it. I'm anxious to see if the glass holds together through a good gully washer.

I'm so excited for you. I love this. When it isn't 20 something degrees outside, we might head out to find some rocks to play with. See that's why I envy how you live. You go for a hike in the woods and there you are rock heaven. xoxo Linda

I had fun balancing rocks on my vacation in Oregon on the beaches this summer. no glue though. I wonder how long they lasted after I walked away?

It makes me think of Stone Henge.
I think you are blessed to have found a way to meditate, destress and connect with nature. It is pleasing, too.

Wow...I can hardly wait to try that! Right now most of our rocks are really icy. Good job Gail! :)

I was just sure you actually used an adhesive. This must have been fun and challenging. Right up your alley.

This sounds a lot like living, doesn't it? Another exercise that is usually going well when dogs approve. ;-)

Definitely! Your rocks look great!
Makes you wonder how the Indians did it...

Have a blessed Sunday!

Oh, what fun! I've seen some balancing stacks while on walks, and have always thought it would be fun to do... I need to get out more, not you!

Now that's really cool! I'll have to give it a try if the wind every stops blowing here! Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Gravity glue, huh? Sounds intriguing. Though I would probably glue one part of my body to another and be stuck for life…

;)
