a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Sometimes We're In Our Own Little World

I kept talking to Lil
She listens well
I didn't want her to bother the deer.
Those two specks in the distance are white tailed deer.
She never had a clue I was distracting her.

Good girl . . . and she had no clue!
Don't you love those white tails!

What she doesn't see won't tempt a curious dog and leaves the deer in peace. Nice job of distraction and keeping all happy.

I love seeing the deer too, but don't love it when my dogs run after them -- Glad your girl listened, a lesson my dogs could learn a little better! :-)

I have had to do that with skunks. I think that is so cute!

Gail, Love your new header with your wood sign.

It's funny how our dogs love to listen to what we have to say, and they have no idea were distracting them.
