At this rate, Lizzy might make the swimming team. These photos show she has found out how Kool water can be on a very hot day. Love this and love the photos of all paw paws having a swim.
Since we are in Maine we have been watching the weather in Texas and so glad to be out of there for those 100 degree days of summer. Keep cool, my friend.
I am so glad she has a place to cool off. When it is hot, I can't get Sasha to leave the house, she just stays under the air conditioning. She looks at me like I am the crazy one. :) Have a nice weekend.
The heat here has been terrible as well this year - here's hoping for some cooler temps soon! How wonderful that you have that lovely spot for your four-legged children too cool off (fun photos ;o)
Just love the shot of the dogs "cooling it." That pond is doggy heaven. Actually, I am pretty excited about today. It is a cool and comfortable 90 degrees.
We are having the hottest/driest summer since 2009 and that was one for the record books! 106 here yesterday and 103 so far today at 2pm...this is definitely NOT our usual temperate Pacific NW climate. However, I am so thankful we don't have high humidity mixed in. Dry, sauna heat. :) That $100 Walmart pool we bought 3 years ago is being put to good use.
Wow, it must be, because I remember you've said she's not a water girl at all. I wish you'd send some of that hot weather this way, because it's really not our usual July and even start to August which can be our hottest time. It's been cold even. We're doing our family camping trip next weekend and I already heard it's going to be cool! That's a nice way of saying it's gonna be like October! Yikes!
Lizzy is being smart! I wish I had a cool stream to roll in, too. It's my first summer in South Carolina and it has been sooooo hot. Definitely looking forward to fall.

super shots.. i love the one with the tongue out and the last of the 5 dogs all taking a cool down swim.
so hot here. triple digits if not in actual degrees, then the heat index. ugh.
we were 101 here while dallas hit 105. they can keep that concrete aided heat.
Cute photos of Lizzy! She must be hot, rolling around in the water. She may love it now! Cute pups! Happy Friday, have a great weekend!
With all that hair, I bet she was hot.

We surely need a place to cool.....even it that means inflating a child's pool to just sit, or lay down inside.....I'm game!

Stay cool! Yes Chance has his pool:)
So sorry to hear about your high heat ... keep as cool as you can, how about a cool glass of water with some lemon juice squeezed in?
Love the pictures of Lizzy and your other dogs - they need to keep cool too.
Happy Friday Wishes.
All the best Jan
Nice shots! That's such a great way to cool off.
We used to have a yellow lab, Grits, who hated water. Our old Coyote/BorderCollie loved water. She would take off down to the lake! Dogs. ☺
Maybe now that Lizzy has figured out the water helps her cool off, maybe she will go in more!
Have a blessed weekend! ♥
They are loving that! Still horrible over here :(

Oh how I love Lizzy's face. So adorable. Millie would not go in the water, I am sure. She doesn't like wet grass.

Hard to believe that you are having a hot, hot summer and we over hear a cold winter. Love that I can warm up a bit with your photos!
We finally got a cold front - it's only 90!
We had a stream called "Cold Run". It came from springs pouring from the hills around. Your dogs would love floating around there.
I don't even know what to say, it's so hot here too, it's just surreal. And here we are, still have the month of August to go. Ugh.
Stay cool sweet lady!!
Wonderful fun photos ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good weekend !
Thank goodness for a/c, I could never survive without it!! Cute pics!!
Yay for Lizzy . . . I may have to dip my feet in Lake Michigan very soon!
