Flip Flop Adventure In The Hundred Acre Plus Woods

It was a good day for an adventure.
A painted reptile on the ground
sent the terrapin (box turtle) on it's way
and this is what we found

Could it be Big Foot's track?
Was I on its trail?
I tried to follow closely
but lost him when I fell
We happened upon a dead fall tree
where something had scratched and dined
We thought it's time to leave the woods
And see what else we could find
Then we met the water snake
so glad we were on land
Gail left in a hurry
and we were kicking sand

I have never seen a painted turtle - kool colours?? H-m-m-m, Bigfoot and you in your sandals and that watersnake can just stay where it is. I'd be kicking the sand and hi-tailing it outta there too. Looks like a footprint to me.

Hello Gail, I enjoyed this flip flop adventure. That is a big foot, and the turtle is cute, is the watersnake safe? Fun post, enjoy your day!

Adventures! Take out the snake and I'd be there.

Back to flip flops? Weather is good.

Is that a copperhead in the water? Looks like it from here.

You should turn some of these posts into children's books! I can see one just waiting in this one! :)

Beautiful little turtle. I had to relocate one the other day that Callie had cornered.
Too bad that wasn't Big Foot:)) A picture of one could make retirement easy.

Oops, darn it one little slip and the adventure ends! It's a mystery afoot! Maybe you'll catch him again. I'm hoping so.
