Leopard Frog In Seven Lines

Trying Kelly's challenge of the seven line stanza
with syllable count
Please keep in mind I have to practice to improve.
Thanks.
Leopard frog is amphibious
His spots and stripes help him hide
lives outside
In spring he likes to sing
calling for his bride
his natural coloring
postpones his dying

Great choice for survival... something we can all learn from unfortunately.

I do have a soft spot for leopard frogs, so pretty and practical.

I'm liking your leopard frog, Gail. Poem about him too. At first I didn't see him, he is hiding well. But with the larger view he shows beautifully. (I did this fun form also but only did the middle line internal rhyme.)
