A tree is never just a tree.

That is one knotty, twisted old tree. Like one you'd see in a fantasy setting. Which means, magic is afoot.

I see a cool looking tree! I love trees and could be considered a tree hugger. Enjoy your day!

You do have some interesting trees. I see a couple of slightly erotic female forms and a couple of ugly faces.

A wolf's head on top, a couple of slightly blowsy female figures, and a troll on the bottom. Be careful it doesn't drop a branch on your head!

There are several trees in my area that I keep meaning to get pictures of. Some are really unusual.

A snake in the tree . . .
A large full chested woman . . .
Bumps . . .
Worts . . .
Years . . .
Rocky, bumpy life travels . . .
Stories . . .

Too true. I'm reminded of Tolkein's obsession with drawing trees. He saw it too. (I think that's why he personified them into life.)

So true, it's always something more! What an incredible grand old tree it is too!

I love this tree. It has experienced many things over the years. It tells many stories. Trees are like that. You created an excellent post for it. Thank you for sharing its stories.

An old man with a beard, a lady with big bosoms and a scary face!
I am forever seeing faces in wood or tiles.

Trees have such character at times.
We are blessed to have them, to look at and for the young to sometimes climb!

All the best Jan
