a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

"Deep Dark Depression...

excessive misery, rue, despair, and agony on me" from a song on an old show called "Hee Haw". I think it is highly appropriate to sing it on Mondays. If you remember the show, I am feeling as lively as the Culhanes and want Grandpa Jones to cook my supper!

Then I remembered it was Monday and I have a full time job and trying to help run a farm and trying to organize my whole life...no wonder I am tired.
Enough! I shall post some pretty pictures and we will talk no more of Mondays.

Marcy went fishing

here

and here.

She still has lots of roosters

and lots of flowers.

The pictures are all lovely, but the one of the roosters just jumped right out of the computer at me, I love it. Oh yes, I remember Hee Haw, I sometimes feel like the old dog that just laid around and did nothing.

Oh Sweet Gail,

I hope you don't mind, I stole the picture of the roosters and put it in "My Fun Room" blog, to share with my grandchildren. Please say it was alright for me to steal it, just this one time. If not I will remove it. ;((

Of course I remember Hee Haw!! When I saw the title to your post, I was already singing the little song. How I loved to hate that show!! My dad loved it!
Good for you for poo-pooing Monday! I am so with you!! After our gorgeous weekend (sunny with a slight breeze and about 75!), I hated with a capital H, coming to work on Monday!! :( But, I am here, like always. Loved the pictures!! The roosters seem like such "men", all puffed up and full of themselves!! Too funny!!
Love the trees reflected in the pond too...thanks Gail!!
Oh, and farm mom, - that was Minnie Pearl on the show and it was a price tag, not a tea bag.
Hee hee...

Oh, yes, we always watched HeeHaw, too. Lots of good memories, there. I sometimes find myself humming that "Gloom, Despair, and Agony on Me" song, too.

I don't know how you do it all, Gail. Be sure to rest when you need to!

I recall Hee-Haw. Funny, you captured my Monday feelings precisely. I still feel that way and it's Tuesday.

Love, love, love the roosters! Probably because I have so many myself!

What kind of fish? Perch perhaps?

I remember Hee Haw and watching it with my parents when I was growing up...I loved Minni Pearl and the price tag on her hat! =)

I don't know anything about Hee Haw, but that song sounds pretty depressing, although I guess that's how you feel when it's Monday and you have to go back to drudgery. I'm afraid I don't have that particular problem, but I have other ones, so we all even out.

That was a fun show. You need to cheer up it's Tuesday in less that 2 hours. Wish I could think of something to make you feel happy.
