Ok, so the pics of the cats with the chickens is encouraging to me. I keep thinking of getting a few chickens, but I'm afraid our cats' eyes will light up just a bit too much... esp our younger big boy, Barack. He does love his bird hunts!

Sweet photos. Farm animals definitely can learn to get along. They have to around here. Troublemakers don't get to stay. That goes for the two legged and four legged kind. Blessings.

Gee Whiz, I cleaned up blood on a daily basis for the first year after we brought our lab pup into our home with an adult cat.
Poor dog was too dumb to stop putting her nose where it really didn't belong and the cat was not going to stand for it.
They finally made peace.

I've been tempted by the notion of a kitten just lately and your photos are just making that temptation worse! Too cute.

Good to see everyone getting along. My cat doesn't bother our hens but neither would she be so relaxed around them as yours. She'd rather pretend they weren't really there.

I just love seeing animals exist together that you normally wouldn't think would get along. Funny how the animals seem so much smarter than people sometimes.
