a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

It Was A Dark, Warm Night...

as I stalked the trespassers.  Dressed in my pjs and knee high rubber boots, I quietly crept to the pond.  My ancestors, in the form of floating orbs, were with me the whole time.
The dogs were sniffing for smells that did not belong.  I had a plan, I had a camera, I was gathering evidence.
The pond greeted me with silence.  I saw no one but I would not believe my eyes, I kept searching.  By golly, I was there to take names.
I found this.
Looks like a sneak in and fish gate to me!
I will endeavor to persevere.

Well, by the looks of that they obviously intend to return.

Ask the floating orbs, I bet they have a fish story to tell! Heeehehe! Good luck on catchin' the thieves.

God bless and I would usually tell ya to rest here but I bet your up playin' detective tonight.

I want a picture of you in your boots and jammies. You have spunk! It's like when I go on a ghost hunt, except the ghosts don't usually steal things. Good luck. Hope you get a motion detector light up. Do your dogs tend to bark? That helps too.

Maybe you are looking for two legged predators?

Don't get yourself a gun. You may shoot somebody. Besides, then you can't take pictures.

Booby trap the gate. (fresh cow patties spread across the entire thing? I could send husband down to tighten it -- I can never get his gates open!! :) The most extreme booby trap would be to dig a deep trench across the inside of the opening, then cover it with straw.....)
Motion-detectors that set off sirens and lights and cameras..... scare the pants off the buggers!

HATE trespassers!

(Oh, and Happy Easter!)

Oh, I love The Bag Lady's comments! I was going to say to booby-trap the gate, too. Or leave a big note at the gate saying "YOU ARE BEING WATCHED" or something. Probably it's a bunch of kids coming out to fish at your pond & drink, don't you think???

I love the orbs - how freaky! Last year I took some pics in my house, and a bunch of orbs showed up on them. I was so excited, thinking I finally found spirits in my old, old home. I researched them & science says that it was dust. Hmmm, dust isn't exciting...

Go get'em!! Possibly the best time to catch them is during the full moon. We just had one this past week, so be ready to stalk them during the next full moon cycle!

I had a motion detector camera stolen by a trespasser once...next time I put it up in the tree...never did catch them...be careful going out there by yourself...

Me? I'm interested in you turning the camera on yourself. I'd like to see you in those pj's and boots. You just might start a new trend, ya never know!
