We have had Rain Joy this week which has opened the door to many sunny days ahead . . .

Early flowers are coming to an end and the colors of gold and amber are slowly creeping into the outdoor palette . . . The leaves have begun their color change . . .

Pretty flowers 'cause of the showers.

I didn't see the butterflies until I enlarged the photos. What a nice surprise! Is this thistle? I remember as a young girl pulling the purple flower out and sucking the sweet nectar. Yeah, we had thistles in the suburbs, too! ;)

I am probably a very wierd person (well, some would argue there's no probably about it) but I think thistles are so pretty.

I do enjoy a nice rain. It does clean the air and perk up all the plants too.

Have a terrific day. ☺

I have heard about this thing called "rain." I have heard it happens from time to time. I hope that I may experience it again someday.
Your flowers are beautiful.

I'm in Palm Desert with my mom right now. She had a small stroke but is recovering well, thankfully. The idea of rain sounds very appealing!!

Aah Gail, not just one....but two butterfly's - now that is indeed a great capture. We got through the joys of Chocolate and International Festival; celebrating on both sides of our two countries - had soooo much fun and hope to share some here eventually. Special hug to March and best to TM, Andrew, Zander n of course you, my friend lol
