a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

The Emancipation of Timothy Turtle...

 Hesitant,( my gift of turtle),
  Timothy headed out
digging into sand for safety
Will he head up or down?
No one will know.
While I played with rocks
Timothy made a quick get-a-way.

He's lovely, isn't he?
I also like playing with stones near a river or beach.

As long as he doesn't surprise you again! Although if he came back to bite your husband in the bum I'm sure you wouldn't mind.
