So lovely, and when the sun shines on the ice, it sparkles like diamonds.

Glad that you are back!! My parents are visiting family in the St Loius area, and went down to St. Genevieve MO, which was also hit pretty hard by ice. She told me that some places won't have power for up to another six weeks! I immediately thought of you. :)

Isn't it amazing how something so devastating can be so beautiful??? We had one ice storm here in WA about 11 years ago, and I don't ever want another one...lol!!!

Amazing! I love the ice on the barbed wire. It is unfornate [okay SUPER SUCKY!!] that something so lovely can be so devastating.

Wonderful job Gail. What kind of camera do you use?

Incredible photos! So glad you are back. Very sorry to hear about your pecan tree...and all the other trees and scrubs you lost or will have to trim when the ice subsides...it is a pretty site but oh so tough for nature!!

Your pictures are amazing!! I especially love the way the light shines on that second one. The ice could truly be appreciated for it's beauty if it weren't such a major pain and devastating when it shows up. Take care.
We will be on the downhill side of winter after tomorrow. Come on spring!!
