a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Time To Rant!!!

What part about private property, no trespassing, not your dad-blamed place, that some people don't understand???

Heard through the rumor mill, a few select people have been enjoying harvesting our fish.  These are some of the same people who have stolen from their own mother, gotten nothing except through lying and cheating, some of them do not have a pot to pee in and others think they own the world.

This is a pond Dad built.  This is the pond we restocked.  This is the pond where we  fed the fish and delayed in harvesting because we wanted them to reproduce.  They even had the pure unmitigated gall to call the pond by name when bragging about their thieving ways.

I surely hope that some of you get wind that I am writing about you!  I personally think you are the scum of the earth.  I know how you have stolen and disgraced the name neighbor.  I hope you are stricken with the back door trots, projectile vomiting, seed ticks and chiggers.  I hope they eat on you until you grow a sense of guilt and change your crappy ways.  You are a low life son of a biscuit eater and I am pissed...sorry, to those who don't know I can get angry.

I took a walk about dusk with a camera, hoping to catch them at the pond.  I am ordering motion activated cameras and gonna catch these people and hang them out to dry...in court!

If you want a pond with fish then build it, stock it and feed them yourselves.  Stealing is not the way to get it.  I hope you choke on fish bones, I hope you get a fish hook in your crotch, I hope you never ever are able to catch another fish in your lifetime.  I hope you have bad dreams and wet the bed.  I hope you hang in the fence and rip your pants, I hope the fish break your pole.

I am after you, so watch out, I will get you and no matter how you think you are connected, it won't make a bit of difference.  Someone is gonna fry and it won't be my fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I apologize to my normal readers...to those that know who I am talking about, please tell them, I have declared war.  See ya in court, baby.

April 2nd:  I apologize for my ugly rant.  This is not the normal me.  I rarely get aggravated about any thing but this has my blood boiling.  If you are hungry, I will let you fish.  If you don't know how, I will teach you.  BUT NEVER STEAL FROM ANYONE, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT.

You might consider a sign saying trespassers will be shot--or perhaps hung by a fishing hook!

Hope you made the police aware of the problem and post the property.

I'm new to your site, and I'm so sorry to hear of your problem with people who don't know how to mind their own business and stay on their own property. Isn't it a shame when you have something nice that you spend a lot of time on and some low life thinks they have the right to steal what is yours.

Stealing fish? How lame is that?

Those fish are expensive to raise, I know this. I'm sorry, Gail. In the words of my brethren, "may the fleas of 1,000 camels infest the armpits of these thieves."

Amen.

You get them Gail! I think that it takes alot of guts to trespass in the country. It's just an integrity thing and ya have to be pretty dang low to walk on someone's property and fish their pond without a care in the world.

It sounds to me like a stakeout and a couple of shots over their heads are called for.

No excuse for stealing...you are very justified in your rant...go for it girl!!!

You go girl..have them thrown in jail..let them fish there. Hope you got a trail cam..they are easy and weatherproof and not real expensive..they are activated by motion..of course you could always dig a pit and fill it with manure..then cover it with sticks and straw..LOL:)

I hope they are not injured in any way on your property, because it sounds as if they are low life enough to sue you.

I don't blame you for being angry one bit. I really hate trespassers myself. We deal with the same crap from hunters, I have nothing against hunting at all but I hate when people trespass to do it, then to add insult to injury they leave their beer cans and trash for us to pick up. I have had the same exact response as you, if they want a place to hunt then why don't they buy their own?

If they will steal, they will lie, and if they will do those things they will do anything, including hurting you if you bump into them unawares. Please..be careful! People can be dangerous when caught and I know this from first hand experience. They may mean to just knock you out of the way and run..but you could be accidentally injured or even killed.

I seriously doubt that POSTING your property will make one bit of difference...only make it more fun.

I certainly understand your rage..be careful!
Please!
Love and hugs to you,
Mona

Wow, I read a later post (the one with the orbs!), then backed up & read this one. now I see what you were talking about in that post. Good luck!!!

When we 1st moved to our home a year and a half ago, we had alot of people hunting on our property. We took weeks & put up hundreds of no trespassing/no hunting signs all around our 250 acres. each sign was about 20 feet away from the last sign - there was no way people could miss them. We took people's deer bait buckets which were on our property. We posted MANY signs on their tree stands which were on our property. We gave them 7 days to remove the tree stands or we were going to take them, but on day 6 the tree stands disappeared. We even found hunters out in our woods & notified them they were on private property. It was chaos.

Keep us posted about your progress!

You go girl. Just be careful. You actually held your language to a polite rant.
I would have used really bad words cause I'm like that.

Amen, I am with you 100%; just because someone isn't there to tell them not to trespass doesn't mean it's okay. Someone recently stole our outdoor furniture from our farm; nobody lives there, but we go there and work and USE that furniture. Apparently people have no respect for the law; remember "thou shalt NOT steal!"

Tell us how you REALLY feel, Gail! You are hopping mad, eh? I think you'd be safe if you had posted, "NO TRESPASSING, PERSONAL PROPERTY", and then SHOT the offenders! No, only kidding. At least get them arrested. Sig the dogs after them!

Those same thieves would probably steal from a baby and the church too. Once a thief, always a thief. I do not tolerate thieves. Don't you have the cardinal rule, if someone trespasses, you have the right to shoot and ask questions later? h-m-m, not that you should shoot them but some buckshot over their heads will send them scattering. It shouldn't come to that but between you and me, I would be royally pizzed, "linked" or not. Post the signs, although I think you already did that. Put up the cameras and catch em, press charges. That's what I would do. This post was a while ago, so I hope you caught em.
