Wonderful glorious rain!!!!
It washed the trees,
gave the plant life a drink
and settled the dust.
We got a quarter inch,
but a desperately needed quarter it was.
It flooded the windshield
and I thought,
I won't have to wash my car!
It did not stay long.
It traveled on to bless more people.

I'm glad you finally got the rain you needed and I hope you get some more. What a relief it must have been. So refreshing and so welcome. I know what it's been like here to have rain. It has been a real blessing. We have more to come this coming week. I am happy about it.

Rain here, too. Much was desired and it came down as such. One half inch. The lawn and garden slurped it up.

Hey Gail glad you got some of the rain, I know you said it was dry, dry, dry! We got three inches and dang quick and a new pond in the front yard :)
Couldn't you just hear the earth gulping up the precious liquid? I love when the rain washes all the dust off of everything!
Ya can water and water again and nothing ever takes the place of a good rain!
