Beverly sometimes takes her car straight to the garden when she arrives. No fancy equipment for her, no siree! Use what you got is her motto and she does it so well.
It is sad that the sunflowers have reached their peak but oh, I can just taste those seeds!
What we don't eat will be fed to our feathered friends.

Geesh that is sad seeing those poor Sunflowers with their heads drooping down over the trunk. But I perk right up when you mention all those seeds!
Wow what a different a bit of time does...they are beautiful...then they are not...
Yes that heat does wilt the best of things, I can imagine what it is doing to us that spend time out in it, I love the Sun Flowers, always have, and I am glad that you can put the seeds to good use, I do love them too, I buy them by the large bags, Hugs my friend, Barbara
It must be fun getting all those seeds out. That would be a job for me. I will have to plant sunflowers next year just for that fun job. They sure were pretty.
There is always some gain to dying, I suppose. In this case, food. And so goes the circle of life.

Betcha ya didn't know that your sis's car could double as a sunflower hearse. I love sunflowers, they just keep on givin'.
Ya'll have a fabulous weekend!!!
You sure had a lot of work to do and did. I love the sunflower.
So sad to see them all laying prone on the car. I love cheerful sunflowers. I'm amazed that they are ready to harvest now, too.
Ours are nowhere near ready and already the nights are getting cooler and cooler down into the low60's.
Fall will be here soon...and I want some sunflower seeds, too. hehe!
Apples will be ready next month, though. I can't wait!
Enjoy!

Don't you feel like bending YOUR head over when the sun continuously beats down on you? LOL!
