a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Flowers, Frogs and Figs

Dad always told me if I couldn't say something nice, to keep my mouth shut.  I will not shut up completely but will say Tuesday was a day.  One of those days when there are more reports than I had brains to supply them.  A day when the action was greater than inside a new Whirlpool washer.  One of those days that made me question why the hell I haven't retired.

Now, I am shutting up like Dad advised me too!

My vote is retirement, if voting is involved.

I get all melty when i see frogs. Not sure why. Maybe too many fairy tales.

Well, I think you should retire too, but I understand the concerns.

I seem to have missed the figs this year. In fact, they totally slipped my mind and didn't even think about them til one day last week. Of course, I don't have a fig tree.

Sorry yesterday was a rough one. It happens occasionally, doesn't it? Well, it's over and done with and today is a whole new cup of tea :)

I think you should kiss one of those frogs and make a wish. I'm sure you don't want Prince Charming, but maybe there's something else you want that you can wish for. I'm sorry you had a rough day. I hope today is easier. I hope you get lots of terrific and kindhearted customers.

That damned full moon, honey. It brought every hairbrained soul out of the woodwork. I hope today brought sanity.

Well poo! My Dad always taught me, you get more bears with honey than you do vinegar.

I'm all about the honey. But what do I do, if I don't want any bears?

Can you rub a frog and make a wish?
