I think you should roast those red peppers then and serve them on bruschetta with fresh mozzarella, a sliver of basil and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
I hope the bugs leave those wonderful peppers alone. They do looks great and like something to prepare a very hot dish with. My mouth is watering now. I'm thinking of a great salsa.
