a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Been Waspish Lately...

I don't know if its the weather or working six days a week since October, but's it's something.  I seem to have lost my sense of humor.  Now, that is scary because that is what gets me through the rough times.  Humor, sick, twisted humor is my fun.  Where has it gone?

I was reading some of my old posts and found a story of when I still had some humor left in me.  Please go here and enjoy!  Today I am low on humor.

Gail, as you know, I so get how you feel. I tried to blog yesterday with some enthusiasm but it just sputtered and died. OY.

Gail, I think the our humor is controlled by how we are feeling. It's always there, but it shines in different ways depending on the moods. Or...is that just me?

To cheer you up....

I put my pants on backwards, my shirt inside out and am using my PJ red fish, blue fish shorts as a hat. No shoes and my hair looks like a frightened porcupine.

The twisted sick part...I'm going to the mall. Let them eat cake. :D

Sometimes we just get too darn serious for a while and forget about laughing at things. We get so mired down in the everyday little problems that we can't see the humor of it anymore. It would be nice if we could be tickled back into laughter again. Have you tried to watch funny videos on You Tube? That works for me.

That was a devious little prank and one of my favorites. I hope when you reread the post, it brings you a lightness of being.

Surely you aren't working today? Right?

Low humor days really stink when it's happening to you, I'm glad you have a back up plan!!! I write all my blog posts on Sunday and that keeps all the funny locked in!

Hi Gail, I enjoyed your back humour anyway and judging by what I read your hubby may be glad you're a bit subdued of late - cool trick though!!

We all get in a funk now and then. You'll snap out of it soon enough, or else I just might have to visit you and slap you upside the head! Hee hee, just kidding!

The change in the season should perk you up some. It's feeling quite fallish up north here!

It's stress. I've got lots to do too and I find it hard to find a happy place.
