While I've seen pictures of fungi before these are truly exceptional views of them.

Yes, it is that time of the year, when the fungus seem especially abundant...well, at least obvious to me. :)

the "growths" are very interesting. Ewwww comes to mind on the first one...but that only means you did a great job of capturing the fungi. Being from a dry place, these are not familiar at all. Except for the last ones...every once in a blue moon we will have enough moisture to see some.
Great photography.....congrats.

These are as interesting and beautiful as the first fungi I saw here. One of my first visits to your blog showed me how beautiful fungus can be. Just goes to show ya that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

Enjoy your day!!!

Hey thanks for following "Scrubby Bush" - your photos are fabulous and I'll have to head out after this rain and post some Aussie fungi for you. Look forward to reading more.

Nice photos! There are people who go mushroom hunting up here in the woods, but would rather buy our mushrooms from the store. I can't tell the good ones from the bad ones.

Interesting fungi! I take it that these are not the kind you eat in your salad.
