was finding my tools and reorganizing the tool closet. I have every thing labeled and so easy to find...wait, that should be HAD every thing organized. I could reach in the dark and find the tool I needed. No more!
I have a tool thief...been living with me a long time. Many years ago when asked what I wanted for Mother's Day, I replied, a tool box with a lock. This has been such an ongoing problem, my daughter bought me pink tools thinking it would shame Hubby into not using my tools. Nope, he can see them better.
Through the years, my tool collection has grown. I have battery tools, a dremil, a jig saw, and some other saws and boy, do I love them....and it really tees me off when they are not where they are supposed to be. Hubby uses them so much, he claims them as his!
So Sunday, I gathered and sorted and redid my closet...one more time. Know where I found my pink straight edge screw driver...that's right, on hubby's table.

I have my own tool box too and GOD help the man that messes with it!
No pink tools but that better not matter! I sooo understand where you are coming from! I do!
(He can see them better??) LOL..OH LOL :):):)
The same thing would happen here if I had my own tools...so, I just use his and let him wonder where they are. LOL
Pink wouldn't deter mine either!
Funny post! You had me laughing all the way!
You have an ornery husband. You must find an appropriate punishment.
Hi Gail,
Thanks for visiting my blog! I got a kick out of this post, and went back to read a few more! I asked for my very own tool bag for Christmas, and I got it. My husband leaves mine alone (as he has a garage full of his own) but my daughter uses them and doesn't return them! Grr!
I've come to the realization that every tool inside and outside belongs to the both of us and if one can't find it, the other usually can. :)
