In My Sisters' Garden

Peppers and egg plant,
sunflower,
watermelon,
pumpkin,
chives,
okra,
and marigolds.
The end of season is near,
for the garden
and for the butterfly.

My name is on the white pumpkin! Smile.

I build a pumpkin tower each fall in a large chocolate pot I have. Really cool. Very large white, AMOST flat on the bottom. Then a tangerine gourd like pumpkin, very gnarly looking, light green one, darker orange and then a smaller white.

Making another this year, I will send post!!!

Thanks for the pumpkin prompt!

Just caught up a bit with your blog. How is your head? Still sore? OUCH!

Your pictures are marvelous, as usual. I particularly enjoyed the sunflowers you posted! I grew some last year but forgot this year. I am so ready for fall! And cooler temps!

Gorgeous butterfly. I think I told you we don't see them around very much anymore.

Wonderful vegetables and the chives look great with their white flowers. Just to think that all that abundance came from your garden thanks to your sisters, of curse. But still, it grew there as if by a miracle. It never ceases to amaze me.

Very pretty! I have 2 dogs, a horse, and a rabbit, all of which are very healthy. I can't keep a plant alive for anything!
