Adopting A Mummy for dVerse~Poets Pub

A Halloween challenge for every one to try.  Turn those screams to laughter and the scary things will hide.
I think I need a mummy
To help with house hold chores
They are wrapped in rags
So they can dust and more.

Need to wash a floor?
Wet a mummy well
Drag it through the rooms
Better than a mop I hear tell

Don't need a zombie
They make too big a mess
Where the next body part falls
Is anyone's guess

Vampires have a drinking problem
Werewolves always shed
Ghosts go through everything
And the Horseman has no head.

So give me a mummy
With rags of clean white
I'll hand it Pledge
With orders to work all night.

Yes, a mummy (both) is always useful. :-)

After doing without a domestic help for two weeks, I need a mummy in rags as well. There sure is a lot of dust around here and I do like the smell of Pledge. I wonder if I can get her to use it the next time. I will have to look into it. Of course, nothing is really natural wood here. I think that is a prerequisite, isn't it?

Very clever! Yes, a mummy would do best for dusting and polishing. Easy to toss into the washer when finished.

Gail,

I think you've sold all of us on Mummies!!! In fact, I could use one about now. I'm mopping the floor.

dropping by via sandra's.

happy halloween!

Nope, no zombies need apply. All those body parts dropping every where would only make for more chores. And werewolves, well the cats already shed enough. I'll take a mummy too!

Happy Halloween!
